LBS USHERS IN THE LUNAR NEW YEAR AT D’ ISLAND RESIDENCE
Puchong, 27 January 2016 – LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) transformed its D’ Island Residence development into a carnival town to usher in the Chinese New Year. The fun-filled carnival, themed Spring Blossom, brought together over 300 residents, families and visitors for an evening of revelry to usher in the year of the Fire Monkey.
Firing up the celebrations LBS Managing Director, Tan Sri Lim Hock San said, “We are very happy to bring festive cheer to our residents and visitors to D’ Island Residence. It is events like these that allow us to continue our commitment to building communities.”
As part of the carnival’s programme, inspiring talks by Chinese astrology consultant Dato’ Joey Yap, who provided valuable tips for 2016, entertained guests. Also present were GS Realty Sdn Bhd, Director, CEO Dato’ Sri Nelson Kee and popular television host, Victor Gu. Dato’ Sri Kee and Gu spoke about “2016 Property Market Outlook” and “New Year New Outlook”.
Embracing the essence of the celebration, visitors and residents of D’ Island Residence were feted with traditional delicacies and nostalgic Chinese arts and crafts such as paper cutting, knot-tying and calligraphy. As soulful music livened up the atmosphere, the God of Prosperity made his rounds to spread well-wishes for the coming year.
Children were also entertained with various activities such as face painting and mandarin orange decorating. Also available was a wishing garden and photo booth to capture memories of the Lunar New Year celebration.
In the spirit of Chinese New Year, other highlights included the free iPad Mini 2 given to the first 50 SkyVilla purchasers during the carnival.
Officially launched in 2011, LBS’s flagship high-end development - D’ Island Residence, is set on 175-acres of land and surrounded by a 1,000 acre lake. “Island Retreat, Urban Charm sums up what we envision for D’ Island Residence – an island paradise that you can now call home.
