Southbay City is the commercial component of the modern beach fronting Southbay integrated township. It is sited on the South-East side of Penang, in Batu Maung. This integrated city is the winner of the Cityscape Asia Real Estate Award 2010 for Best Waterfront Development (Future).

The first phase of Southbay City is Southbay Plaza, which comprises of retail shops and residential suites. The sea-fronting retail shops comprise 1 to 3-storey shop lots with built-ups ranging from 1,200 sf up to 14,000 sf.
