Rasah Jaya is a residential township within Seremban town. It is also known as Taman Rasah Jaya and this neighbourhood is established since 1982. Rasah Jaya is located on the south of Seremban and neighbouring Taman Desa Rasah, Seremban 3 and Taman Sri Rasah.
This integrated township consists large component of residential development which is supported by a small portion commercial component (few rows of shop-lots) and basic facilities (children playground, field et cetera) to serve the community.
The residential component includes low-cost apartment, 1-storey terrace house, 2-storey terrace house and also bungalow. The 1-storey terrace house has land size of 20' x 70' with built-up size of 1,400 sf. It equipped with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2-storey terrace has plot size of 24' x 70' with 1,649 sf of built-up size and comes with 3+1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bungalow is built with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The commercial component of Rasah Jaya comprises of rows of 3-storey shop lot. The corner lot has lot size of 28' x 70', while the intermediate lot has lot size of 22' x 65'.
Established since 1982, Rasah Jaya is indeed a matured township with sufficient amenities and facilities for the community. There is a school within the township, named SK Taman Rasah Jaya. Other nearby schools are SMK Mewar, SJK © Kelpin and SRJK © Sin Hwa. The township also hosts its own mosque named Masjid Qariah Rasah Jaya and a Hindu temple. Moreover, there is a night market (pasar malam) being held regularly. The township is just a stone's throw away to Paradise Valley Golf Resort.
As for accessibility, Rasah Jaya can be easily accessible via North-South PLUS Highway, Jalan Rasah and also Seremban-Port Dickson Highway. It is about 6 km to Seremban town centre, 7.8 km to the fast growing Seremban 2 and just 2.5 km to the new Seremban 3. It is about 1 hour drive (70 km) to Kuala Lumpur city centre.
