Pantai Tengah is among the longest beach in Langkawi. It is sited south of Pantai Cenang (approximately 550 meters from Pantai Cenang) that faces another popular tourist destination which is the Pulau Rebak Besar.
Only a small cape divides Pantai Tengah from Pantai Cenang, and the former is much quieter compared to the popular Pantai Cenang. The 1km long beach of Pantai Tengah links Pantai Cenang right after the Lighthouse Restaurant (owned by Chef Shukri) and its scenic coastline has mostly taken up by resorts and chalets.
Besides that, due to its close proximity to lots of beautiful islands which include Pulau Singa Besar, Pulau Beras Basah, Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Rebak Kecil and Pulau Rebak Besar, Pantai Tengah also provides sea activities like boating. Also, there is a great place for fishing activities especially near the rocky outcrop next to Pulau Rebak Kecil located just opposite the Pantai Tengah beach which is claimed to be a haven for garoupa fish.

There are restaurants serving delicious seafood either local or oriental cuisines like Sunseafood, Sunvillage, Sun Cafe, Sunflower Handicraft, Sun Spirit CafÃ©, Matahari Malay Restaurant Unkaizen Japanese Restaurant, Duty-Free Shopping Complex, for fun and excitement there is the Underwater World Langkawi and Aquabeat, the Gecko convenience store, souvenir shops, ice-cream parlours, fast-food outlets, night market, nightclubs, bars and low key affordable chalets.
As for food, one can find an extensive choice of cuisines in Pantai Tengah ranging from the average cost for Asian-style high-class dining of around RM 30.00 to RM 50.00/course per pax, and an affordable RM 15.00 to RM 20.00/course per pax for fresh seafood delicacies.
