Pandan Indah is a notable township sandwiched between Ampang and Cheras. It is a mixed development and therefore, there is mixed projects like condominiums, service apartments, apartment duplex, double-storey terrace houses and retail lots from different developers.
Houses in the area are either freehold or leasehold. Whilst it is a matured area, there is still a fair amount of novel buildings being developed. Other developed property in Pandan Indah are Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Taman Maluri and Pandan Jaya. It also boasts a myriad of condominiums and apartments with the famous ones being Axis Crown and Putri Court. There are is Kenari Court and Grandeur Tower for the middle class and for the lower income group there is Pandan Cahaya and Merpati Apartment.
Pandan Indah provides numerous township amenities and various facilities around the the area viz. Mid-Point Shopping Centre, Pandan Kapital, AEON Jusco, Tesco Ampang, Fiesta, 1Shamelin, Galaxy Ampang, restaurants, retail shops schools and clinics within walking distance. The place is considered as a prime area due to its proximity to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Besides, few condominiums get to enjoy KLCC view from their homes. Korean lovers will enjoy the nearness to Little Korea in Ampang Avenue. The latter is not to be mistaken with One Ampang Avenue near Ampang Point.
Pandan Indah is under the responsibility of Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ), and is strategically located with accessibility to major expressways. The Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Ampang-Hulu Klang Highway (AKLEH), Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) and other main roads serve the area. The facelift also provides faster access to Bukit Indah with the additional flyovers on Jalan Pandan Indah which greatly bottleneck. For public transportation users, the Pandan Indah LRT Station services this township together with many Rapid KL buses.
