Before PuduSentral is Pudu Raya terminal, the only bus terminal in Kuala Lumpur used to carter for trains departing to and arriving from all parts of Peninsular Malaysia. After full-scale improvement and reopening in April 2011, it mostly serves north bound coaches and airport (LCCT and KLIA) coaches. Since then, PuduSentral is brighter and cleaner with more air-conditioning waiting area for commuters waiting for boarding.
Some of the common bus courses are PuduSentral is KL to Hatyai, KL to Penang, KL to Cameron Highlands and KL to Kuala Perlis among others.
Pudu Raya, better known as PuduSentral is strategically located at JalanPudu which is adjacent to the lively JalanPetaling. The latter is also known as Chinatown where one can find lots to eat, see and buy. The terminal is also situated a little distance (5 minute’ drive or 15 minutes’ walk)away from the widely known “Golden Triangle” –the Bukit Bintang enclave where one could find countless pubs, shopping malls, and restaurants.
To get to PuduSentral, one can hop onto the closest LRT train station which isPlaza Rakyat station (Ampang Line) situated just behind the terminal.If one is usingKelana Jaya Line, he or she must switch the train at Masjid Jamek interchange station from Kelana Jaya Line to Ampang Line (underground). Valuablefacilitiesobtainable at Pudu Ray bus terminal are locker for luggage storage, ATM machines, convenient shop, food court and hotel at the top floor.
