A Nepali man would not have thought that a scream would be the last sound that he would hear from his friend who was found fatally injured at PJS 9/1, South Quay, Bandar Sunway, this morning.
The victim, Mahatara Hari, 36, also a Nepali citizen working as a security guard, was found covered in blood at his post.
Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Yahya Ramli said the victim was believed to have been stabbed by three unknown men.
Yahya said that according to the victim’s friend, he saw three men believed to be the suspects fleeing the area in a black Perodua MyVi heading towards Jalan Lagoon Timur.
“The victim was sent to Sunway Hospital for treatment before being confirmed dead.
“The victim was severely wounded from stab wounds in his abdomen believed to be from a knife,” said Yahya.
He added that investigations found that the deceased had no prior problems or altercations with colleagues or any other parties and did not owe anyone money.
Yahya said police were currently searching for the vehicle used by the suspects and those who had information regarding the incident should come forward to aid in investigations.
The case is being investigated for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
